Dale E. Ketner

Dale E. Ketner, 87, of Womelsdorf, formerly of Bernville, passed away Thursday in Manor Care in Sinking Spring.

Dale was married on August 8, 1953. He was married for sixty eight loving years to Ruth L. (Moyer) Ketner.

Born in Strausstown, he was the son of the late Ernest C. and Carrie M. (Henne) Ketner.

Dale was a pattern maker owning and operating Ketner’s Pattern Shop in Womelsdorf.

Dale was a member of St. Thomas Church in Bernville.

Surviving are two loving children, Dale Ketner, Jr. and wife Marjorie Ketner of Sinking Spring and Jackie F. Lesher and husband Gerald Lesher of Strausstown.

There are four loving grandchildren, Stefanie L. Royds and husband Christopher Royds, Andrew T. Lesher and wife Gretchen Lesher, Nathan M. Lesher, and Allison R. Redcay and husband Scott Redcay.

There are seven loving great grandchildren, Alexandra E. and Landon J. Royds, and Taylor, Emma, Delilah, Angela, and Nicholas Lesher.

There are two living siblings, Ruth Zerbe and Vera Breidigan.

Dale was predeceased by two siblings, Jean Hunsberger and Larry C. Ketner.

Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family.

The Kirkhoff Funeral Home on Bernville is entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
