Craig H. Hartranft

Craig H. Hartranft, 70, of Reading, passed away Thursday at Penn State St. Joseph Medical Center.

Craig was married for forty six loving years to Karen (Rohrbach) Hartranft.

Born in West Reading, he was the son of the late Richard G. and Ruth I. (Yoder) Hartranft.

He was a 1968 graduate of Muhlenberg High School.

Craig was employed for many years by Carpenters Local No. 492 in Reading, and was a lifetime member of the Temple Fire Co.

He was an avid Philadelphia sports fan, especially watching the Eagles, Phillies, Sixers, and Villanova Basketball.

Craig was also a huge fan of Bloomsburg University Field Hockey.

Surviving along with Craig’s wife Karen, is a daughter, Nicole Marie Hartranft of Bloomsburg and a grandchild, Kadyn Marie Rhoads, who was his BFF.

His surviving brother, Brian Hartranft, resides in Kentucky.

Due to the Covid 19 Pandemic, and for the protection of our family and friends, all funeral services will be private.
