Cory August Kalke, 28, of Bethel Twp., passed away Wednesday December 12th in Upper Bern Twp.
Born on December 3, 1990 in West Reading, he was the loving son of Annieta (Fornwalt) Bower, wife of R. Craig Bower of Bethel Twp. and Scott C. Kalke companion of Cindy Bossler of Muhlenberg Twp.
Cory was a 2009 graduate of Tulpehocken High School where he played soccer. He was a self employed contractor.
Cory enjoyed physical fitness, running, and playing sports, especially soccer and basketball. He enjoyed playing many of these activities at Body Zone.
Cory was an enormous fan of the Villanova Wildcats Basketball team and the Dallas Cowboys.
Cory enjoyed the outdoors, he loved repairing and restoring cars and checking out junk yards.
Cory lit up a room with his smile and was a professional prankster, making everyone smile and laugh.
Additional survivors include, a brother, Derek Graeff, husband of Renae Graeff of Exeter Twp. and a sister, Ragen Bower of Bethel Twp.
There are maternal grandparents, Anna and Donald Fornwalt of Bethel, a paternal grandfather August and Cecelia Kalke of Bernville and a paternal grandmother, Helen Semaska and Al Semaska of Myerstown.
Cory is survived by many Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.
Cory will be sorely missed by his loving family and friends.
Family and friends may attend a visitation with the family on Wednesday December 19th from 10 am until noon with a memorial service at noon in the Kirkhoff Funeral Home, 206 N. Main St., Bernville.
Pastor Brian Walmer and Pastor Phil Thomas will be officiating.
Interment will be private.
Casual and sports attire is preferred to be worn at the service.
