May 18, 1991 — April 20, 2025

Bernville

Cody M. Long, 33, born on May 18, 1991, departed this world on April 20, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. A cherished son, brother, and friend, Cody leaves behind an enduring legacy marked by his compassion and his contributions to his community.

As the owner and operator of Atlas Arbor Solutions for four years, Cody immersed himself in his work, demonstrating a strong work ethic that was evident throughout his career. His education began at Hamburg High School, where he graduated in 2009, laying the foundation for his future pursuits.

Cody's passions extended beyond his profession; he had a deep love for music and was an accomplished guitarist. He enjoyed archery and  playing for the Hershey Jr. Bears Ice Hockey Team, which reflected his spirited nature and love of sports. An enthusiast of motorcycles, Cody often found joy in the open road, embracing the freedom that came with it. Above all, Cody was a proud father and cherished quality time spent with his son, Otto.

Cody's heart was as remarkable as his accomplishments—he was a proud organ donor, selflessly offering his heart, liver, and kidneys to those in urgent need. This profound act of kindness will continue to impact many lives, a testament to his caring spirit and his commitment to helping others.

He is survived by his parents, Michael R. and Mariam "Pearl" (Bennett) Long; his beloved son, Otto M. Long; and his brothers, Jimmy Bennett and Joseph Pecika. His maternal grandmother, Pearl Bennett, will also hold him close in her heart, alongside a host of aunts, uncles,  including Theresa Kuropatski, Bernice Bennett, Michael Bennett and his wife Katie, Lorretta Bennette, Colleen Gilgore, Toni Walters, Scott Long, and cousins, Courtney Long, Joshua Long, Ashley Martin, and Amanda Stoudt. Each family member will remember Cody not just for his successes but for the warmth he brought into their lives.

Cody's legacy is also intertwined with the memories of those he lost, including his paternal grandparents, Nancy Long and Leon Baer; his maternal grandfather, James Bennett; his uncles, Dennis and James Bennett; and his niece, Hannah Bennett. Their spirits remain with him, a reminder of love that transcends time.

A gathering to celebrate Cody's life will take place on, Saturday, April 26, 2025, with visitation starting at 9:00 AM, followed by a memorial service at 12:00 PM at Kirkhoff Funeral Home, located at 206 North Main Street, Bernville, Pennsylvania.
