Christine A. Oxenreider

Christine A. (Quinn) Oxenreider, 86, of North Heidelberg Twp., passed away Monday October 20th in the Reading Hospital.
She was married to the late Ellwood H. Oxenreider who passed away March 7, 1999.
Born in West Grove PA, she was the daughter of the late Edwin F. Quinn and Margaret M. (Quinn) Quinn Bailey.
She was employed by AWI-Associated Wholesalers Inc. in Robesonia in the purchasing department for twenty years retiring in 1984.
She was an active member of St. Paul's Church- New Schaefferstown where she was formerly a member of consistory and a former secretary.
Also, she was a member of Young at Hearts.
She was a precious mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, she loved to spend time with her family and was very involved in their lives.
Surviving are her children, Elwood H. Oxenreider, Jr., husband of Cindy of Womelsdorf, Michael E. Oxenreider, companion of Edyta of Bernville, and Linda L. Weaver of Robesonia.
There are nine grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild that is expected to join the family in December.
There is one sister, Jane M., widow of Charles McCardell of Peach Bottom, PA and is predeceased by a brother, Geoffrey Quinn, while being survived by his wife Janet Quinn.
Funeral services will be held on Friday October 24th at 1 pm in the Kirkhoff Funeral Home, 206 N. Main St., Bernville with Reverend Krista Keisling officiating. Interment will follow in St. Paul's Church Cemetery- New Schaefferstown.
A viewing will be held on Thursday evening from 6 until 7:30 pm and Friday from noon until 1 pm in the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul's Church-New Schaefferstown, 145 Tulpehocken St., Bernville, PA 19506.
