Carroll "Buddy" L. Snyder

Carroll L. “Buddy” Snyder, 89, of Bernville, passed away on July 10, 2021 in the Lebanon VA Hospital.

Born on December 6, 1939 he was a son to the late Leroy and Stella (Troutman) Snyder. Buddy was a 1949 graduate of Penn Township High School and also McCann School of Business following his High School Graduation. He was the husband of Lauretta (Hoyer) Snyder with whom he shared 58 years of marriage. He was employed with the Post Office in Bernville where he worked as a mailman for 42 years.  Bud was a proud United States Navy Veteran where he served on aircraft carrier USS Palau during the Korean War.

Buddy was a member of St. Thomas church in Bernville where he previously sang in the choir for many years. He was an avid bowler and a member of Grange for 75 years.

In addition to his wife, Lauretta, Bud is survived by his sisters, Marilyn Kissling and Joan Mengel along with many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Clark “Skip” Snyder, and sister, Elaine Bender.

A Graveside Service will be held Friday, July 16, 2021 at 11:00 am in St. Thomas Cemetery, Bernville.
