Carole Ann Lutz (Bonjean), 65

Former Reading, PA resident Carole Ann Lutz, died June 19, 2022, with her devoted husband, Gene, by her side at UPMC in Harrisburg, PA. Carole Ann was born in Reading, PA on November 23, 1956 to Carolyn Shrom. She graduated from Muhlenberg High School and earned a license in cosmetology from Bryland School of Beauty, an esthetician license from Lancaster School of Cosmetology, as well as a certification in flower arranging from Longwood Gardens. Carole Ann was also an avid volunteer and foster for the Pennsylvania SPCA.

In 2001, Carole Ann met Gene and they were married on November 21, 2005. They recently bought Carole Ann’s dream house in Harrisburg, PA where they lived with her adored rescue kitties. Carole Ann was predeceased by her maternal grandmother, Pauline Beck, and her sister, Jacqueline Bonjean. Left to cherish her memory are her mother and stepfather, Carolyn and Kenneth Shrom, her sister, Julie Palmer, and extended family and friends.

Carole Ann was a wonderful wife, daughter, sister, and friend. Her creative spirit and generous soul were evident in the many handmade crafts and artistic arrangements she gifted to friends and family.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

There will be a celebration of her life on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 beginning at 11AM with a service at Noon in the Milkins Trymbiski Funeral Home, 4914 Kutztown Rd., Temple, PA.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Pennsylvania SPCA in honor of Carole Ann.
