Carole L. Kemmerer
October 28, 1944 — April 16, 2018
Carole L. (Boyer) Kemmerer 73 of Maidencreek Township died Monday evening at Tower Health, West Reading. She was the wife of Roland M. Kemmerer. They shared a loving marriage of forty-eight years.
Born in Reading she was the daughter of the late Elmer C. and Mildred A. (Miller) Boyer.
Mrs. Kemmerer in addition to her husband is survived by two sons. Thomas B. husband of Pamela L. Kemmerer of Mohrsville, and Bruce A. husband of Tammy L. Kemmerer of Temple.
A grandson, Cody A. Kemmerer, living at home. A sister, Diane M. Boyer, of Reading.
Carole was predeceased by a brother, Elmer "Butch" Boyer, who died in 2002.
A graduate of Schuylkill Valley High School in the class of 1962, she enjoyed NASCAR racing and playing bingo.
She retired as a server/clerk in the Fleetwood School District elementary school cafeteria. Prior employment was the former Shiur Fine Deli of Temple and the former Wright's Knitwear of Hamburg.
Memorial service Tuesday evening at 7:00 P.M. in the Milkins Giles Funeral Home, Inc. Temple with Reverend Sara Hertzog officiating. Inurnment of cremains on Wednesday at 10:00 A.M. at Berks County Memorial Gardens, Fleetwood.
Contributions in Carole's memory should be given to the American Cancer Association, 498 Bellevue Avenue, Reading, PA 19605.
