Carol Jean (Balthaser) Loose

Carol Jean (Balthaser) Loose, 82, of Jefferson Township died Wednesday afternoon in her residence.  She was married to Forest L. “Hank” Loose. She was the love of “Hank’s” life, sharing a marriage of forty-one years.

Carol was known for being a loving person enjoying her home, flowers, and yard.

Born in Berks County, she was the daughter of the late John and Ada Balthaser

Surviving in addition to her husband are two brother; William of Pine Grove, and Scott of Harrisburg.

Carol was a member of the Bernville Grange.

She was employed by the former Harns Hosiery of Bernville, Jefferson Drive In as a waitress, and lastly by the former Trautman IGA, Bernville as a clerk.

Cremation arrangements are being provided by Kirkhoff Funeral Home, Bernville.
