Calvin Mazzo

Calvin Mazzo, 90, of Temple, passed away in his residence on Wednesday, January 21st surrounded by his loved ones.

He was predeceased by his wife of sixty two years, Mary J. (Savini) Mazzo.

Born in Reading, on December 7, 1924, he was the beloved son of the late Frank Mazzo and Sara (Natoli) Mazzo.

Calvin was employed for twenty years by John Mazzo's Men's Clothing Store on South Sixth St. in Reading and most recently by Longlott and Friedman as a Sales Representative until he retired in recent years.

He served in the Army during WW II.

He was a member of Holy Guardian Angels Roman Catholic Church, Hyde Park.

He left behind two loving daughters, Maureen (Mazzo) DelCollo, wife of John of Temple and Cindy (Mazzo) Cavalieri, wife of Anthony of Hyde Park.
He is also survived by his grandchildren who he adored; Anthony DelCollo, David DelCollo, Esq, Samuel Cavalieri, and Jamie Cavalieri.
There are four great grandchildren; Dominic and Mia DelCollo, Jason Vazquez Cavalieri, and Gianni Mojica.
He is also survived by two brothers, John Mazzo of Wyomissing and Robert Mazzo of Kenhorst.

He is predeceased by two sister, Ida Sparagana and brothers, Michael and Frank.

His joys were the New York Yankees, league bowling, casino trips, traveling, long walks, McDonald's, and breakfast with his brothers.

He was an energetic, loving, caring, husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather and will be deeply missed by everyone.

He touched many lives with his warm personality and beautiful smile. He will never be forgotten.

Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family.
