Bobby L. Heffner, 86, of Upper Tulpehocken Twp., passed away Thursday September 5th in his residence.
He was married to Cheryl J. (Bach) Heffner. Bobby and Cheryl were married May 10, 1975 and celebrated thirty eight years of marriage.
Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Lester Heffner and Grace (Schaeffer) Heffner.
He was employed by U. G. I. Corporation for thirty two years retiring in 1989.
He owned and operated B & B Lawn Care for twenty two years.
He also was employed by Reading Airport for eight years and Omega Medical for several years.
He served in the Army during WW II.
He was a member of Friedens Lutheran Church in Bernville.
He enjoyed being outdoors and loved gardening. Bobby and Cheryl loved traveling, antiquing, and attending auctions.
Additional survivors include his children, Kay M. Kramer and Susan N. Yeager both of Sinking Spring.
Four grandchildren, Derek, Amy, Gregory, and Steven.
Also, one great grandson, Chase.
He was predeceased by a sister, Irene Schaeffer.
Funeral services will be Thursday, September 12th at 11 AM in the Milkins Giles Funeral Home, Inc. 4914 Kutztown Rd., Temple with Pastor Joy Ziegler, Chaplain from Heartland Hospice officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant View Cemetery. Friends may attend a viewing on Thursday morning from 10 am until time of service in the funeral home.
