Betty A. Lash, 88, of Centre Twp., passed away Saturday, May 7th in Complete Care at Berkshire, Exeter Twp.
Betty was married to the late John R. Lash who passed away October 3, 1997.
Born in Sinking Spring, she was the daughter of the late Lester L. Strunk and Anna A. (Landis) Strunk.
She attended Eplers Church in Bern Twp.
She was the owner, with her late husband John, of a family dairy farm in Centre Twp., for many years, which is still family owned and operating today by Kevin Krill, Betty’s step grandson.
She formerly was employed as a presser for Hollywood Cleaners.
Betty enjoyed gardening, reading, taking care of her cats, and sitting on her porch enjoying her farm.
Betty is survived by a daughter, Susan L. Mull, wife of Donald Mull of Conway, SC.
She is predeceased by two sons, Jeffrey R. Lash who passed away in 2004 and Joel R. Lash who passed away in 2020 and survived by Joel’s wife Barbara Krill.
There is a brother, Lester L. Strunk, Jr. and wife Denise Strunk.
She is survived six step grandchildren, nine step great grandchildren, and two step great great grandsons.
Also, a sister-in-law, Dorothy Krick
Also, there are many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the gamily.
