Betty J. Bower

Betty J. Bower, 82, of Alsace Twp., passed away Monday, April 15th in her residence.
She was married to the late David M. Bower who passed away June 3, 2009.
Born on March 22, 1931 in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Edwin and Annie (Koller) Kaucher.
She was employed for many years by Vanity Fair in Wyomissing.
She enjoyed playing Bingo, Dominoes, Parcheesi, and Pinochle.
Surviving are seven children, Bonnie, wife of Sherman Kunkle of Stoney Creek, Robin Rhein, husband of Deb of Reading, Kitty, wife of Brian Bodenschatz of Penndel, PA, Carol L., wife of Ronald Lengel of Birdsboro, David L. Bower, companion of Nicole Lovell of Temple, Marlin J. Bower, husband of Deb of West Lawn, and Timothy J. Bower, husband of Tracy of Reading.
There are thirteen grandchildren and twenty one great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a brother, Edwin Kaucher and two sisters, Jean Spatz and June Lawrence.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 19th at 10 AM in Berks County Memorial Gardens, Route 222, Maidencreek Twp. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 498 Bellevue Ave., Laureldale, PA 19605. The Milkins Giles Funeral Home, Inc., Temple, is honored to be providing their caring services to the Bower Family in their time of need.
