Barry G. Miller

Barry G. Miller, 61, of Bethel, passed away on January 8, 2022 at the Reading Hospital and Medical Center

Born on March 25, 1960, he was a son to the late Glenn Miller and Pauline (Spatz) Miller and step-son to Joyce Miller Price. He was a 1978 graduate of Hamburg High School. Barry married Brenda L. (Boyer) on May 21, 1988 and they celebrated 33 years of marriage at the time of his passing.

Barry was currently employed with ManBeck Trucking as an independent truck driver. Previously, Barry was the former owner and operator of BGM Construction for many years. He was a member of Strausstown Rod and Gun Club and also served as the past president of Shartlesville Fire Company. Barry and his wife were avid pool players and were current members of the American Pool Players Association for many decades. Above all, Barry as a devoted grandfather and cherished time spent with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, Brenda, Barry is survived by his children, Lynn R. Rutt, fiancé of Jamie Sanders, Heather S. Heverling, fiancé of Dennis L. Oswald, James K. Rutt, Jr. and Doris M. Wagner. Also surviving are grandchildren, Autumn J. Steinmetz, Austin K. Rutt, Gabriel M. Rutt and Clayton H. Norton; Great grandchildren, Matthew C. Whitman, Jr. and Keera R. Krow; Step mother Joyce Miller Price; Four brothers, three sisters and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by two brothers.

An evening viewing will be held on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Kirkhoff Funeral Home, 206 N. Main Street, Bernville. Thursday, January 20, 2022 there will be a viewing held from 10:00 am - 11:00 am with a memorial service beginning at 11:00 am at Kirkhoff Funeral Home.

Burial will take immediately following funeral services at Strausstown Cemetery.
