Barry R. Kreitz

Barry R Kreitz, 55, of Marion Twp passed away Sunday in his home where he resided with his wife Christine Folk-Kreitz.

Barry was born in West Reading and was the son of Ray C Kreitz and the late Carolyn A (Spayd) Kreitz.

Barry was a 1983 graduate of Tulpehocken High School.  He previously was employed by AWI in Robesonia for twenty five years and most recently was employed by Berks Packing Company of Reading.  Barry enjoyed hunting and fishing and teaching others to do the same.  He was a member of Womelsdorf Rod and Gun Club.

Barry is survived by three siblings Steven Kreitz, Bernice Bricker wife to Robert and Ronald Kreitz husband to Stacey.  Barry had three nieces, Melissa Boulanger, Kaylen Kreitz, and Jamie Kreitz, as well as one nephew, Michael Bricker.  Barry is predeceased by a brother Michael Kreitz.

Barry is survived by three step-children, Cheyenne J, Apache J and Cherokee Gettle as well as four grandchildren Gerald Adams, Angel Gettle, Ryder Gettle, and Vivica Maddox.  Surviving as well is Catherine Spayd, companion to Ray.

Funeral service will be held on Friday August 27th at 11am in the Kirkhoff Funeral Home, 206 N Main St. Bernville with Reverend James Snyder officiating.

Family and Friends may attend a visitation with the family on Friday from 10am until 11am in the funeral home.  Interment will follow at Christ Little Tulpehocken Church Cemetery.
