BarbaraAnn Koziol

Barbara Ann Koziol, 70, of Temple, Pa died on Monday, June 5, 2017 in the Wyomissing Health and Rehabilitation Center after a sudden onset of cancer. A lifelong resident of the Temple area, Barbara was born on September 13, 1946, the daughter of the late Raymond and Bernette (Shirey) Spohn. Married for 50-years, she was the loving wife of Myron L. Koziol. Barbara worked as an accounts receivable clerk for Elbeco for many years and also worked in advertising for Kmart. She enjoyed local fishing trips with Myron back when they had a young family. Barbara had a soft heart for cats, she raised purebred siamese cats and also adopted strays from friends and shelters. Barbara also had a canine companion, her dog Bella. She was a member of the Christ UCC Church in Temple and was happiest spending time with her family. Barbara is survived by her three sons, Wayne A. Koziol and his wife Courtney of Florida, Keith A. Koziol and his wife Amy L. of Reading and Robert P. Koziol of Temple; four grandchildren, Kimberly Westley, Murphy Moyer, Taylor Koziol, Chandler Koziol, and her brother, Raymond Spohn, Jr. and his wife, Pat of Myerstown. A memorial service will be held at graveside on Monday, June 12, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in Forest Hill Memorial Park, 390 W Neversink Rd, Reading, PA 19606. Reverend Dr. Harry L. Serio of Christ UCC Church will officiate. Relatives and friends are invited to meet at 1:15 p.m. in the Milkins Giles Funeral Home, 4914 Kutztown Road, Temple, PA 19560 where a procession will be formed in order to travel together to Forest Hill Memorial Park. Upon arrival at the funeral home, funeral staff will assist you with parking for a prompt 1:30 p.m. procession departure for the cemetery.
