Arlena Focht

Arlena V. Focht 89 formerly of Leesport died Tuesday morning at 8:35 a.m. in the Kutztown Manor where she had been a guest for the past four years.

Widow of Chester J. Focht who died December 30,1993

Mrs. Focht was born in Greenwich Township on April 10, 1924. She was the daughter of the late Isaac M. and Suppora (Moser) Schlegel. She loved to play cards, embroider, and quilt.

Surviving is a daughter Barbara A. wife of Richard A. Kuhns of Bern Township.
Two grandchildren; Richard R. Jr., husband of Jennifer Sensenig of Hamburg, and Brandi A. Sensenig of Bern Township. A step-granddaughter, Taryn N. Kuhns of Sinking Spring. A great granddaughter, Madison A. Sensenig of Hamburg and two step granddaughters; Bryanna Reigel and Cassie Lauck of Sinking Spring.

A sister, Erma A., widow of Leon Groff of Bernville.

The following brothers and sisters are deceased; Lester Schlegel, Katie Schlegel, Verna Borkey, Bertha Stamm Keffer, Claudie Schlegel, Agnes Schlappich, Stella Unger, Sylvester Schlegel, Wilson Schlegel, Harvey Schlegel, Ernest Schlegel, Elda Minerva Simmons, Victor Schlegel, Clarence Schlegel, and Erma Groff.

Mrs. Focht was employed by the former Wright's Knitting Wear of Leesport.

Celebration of Life service on Friday at 11:00 A.M. from Wyomissing Church of the Brethren, 2200 State Hill Road, Wyomissing, PA 19610 with Reverend Timothy D. Speicher officiating. Private interment in Epler's Cemetery.

Family will receive friends on Friday 10:00 A.M. until time of services
