Arlan E. Wessner, 83, of Fleetwood, passed away Tuesday, February 4th in his residence of natural causes.
He was married to Dorothy A. (Gontkovsky) Wessner.
Born in Maidencreek Twp., he was the son of the late George Wesner and Verna (Keim) Wesner.
He was a truck driver for Wetterau Foods in Muhlenberg Twp. for many years and he also served in the Army.
He was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Fleetwood.
He enjoyed golfing, bowling, and traveling to Riverdale, Delaware with his family for vacationing and fishing.
He also was a craftsman, especially skilled in woodworking.
He was a bus driver for Fleetwood Community Bus.
Additional survivors include his daughters, Donna Christman of Blandon and Debra Wenrich of Orlando, Florida.
There are four grandchildren, David Pressley, Michael Wenrich, Brian Deoliveira, and Melissa Bojan.
Also, twelve great grandchildren, Hannah, Isabella, Nico, and Gianna Deoliveira, Adrian, Darius, Domonic, Kaden, Cameron, and Logan Bojan, and Dylan and Anna Wenrich.
Also, a brother, Terry Wesner of Pomaria, SC.
He is predeceased by two sisters, Miriam Reppert and Margaret Carlton.
Funeral services will be Friday, February 7th at 11 am in the Milkins Giles Funeral Home, Inc., 4914 Kutztown Rd., Temple with Rev. Patrick W. Morris officiating. Interment will follow in Gethsemane Cemetery, Laureldale.
Family and friends may attend a viewing on Friday morning from 9:30 am until time of service in the funeral home.
