Annabelle R. (Reber) Bortz

Annabelle R. Bortz, 87, formerly of Temple, died August 24, 2014 in Berks Heim, Bern Twp.
She was the widow of Glenn R. Bortz, who passed away September 5, 2013, in which year they celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary of 8/28/1948.
Born in Laureldale, she was the daughter of the late George and Minnie (Homan) Reber.
A 1945 graduate of Muhlenberg Twp. High School, she was a homemaker and loved sewing, attending shows at the Valley Forge Music Fair, and traveling to Branson, Missouri.
Annabelle was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church, Laureldale.
She is survived by two sons: Darryl K., husband of Deborah (Hartline) Bortz, and Keary G. Bortz, significant other of Sheila A. Linderman, both of Muhlenberg Twp; one brother-in-law, Irvin Bortz of Sinking Spring; and one sister-in-law, Shirley E. Yoder of York.
She was predeceased by daughter, Stephanie Bortz; and siblings: Sydney, Dwight, and Stephen Reber, Ruth Large, and Emily George.
A funeral service will be held Friday, August 29th at 10:30 a.m. at the Milkins Giles Funeral Home, Inc., 4914 Kutztown Rd., Temple, PA with Rev. Thomas Irwin officiating.
Entombment will follow in Charles Evans Cemetery, Reading.
There will be a viewing from 9:30 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
