Anna S. Stoudt

Anna S. Stoudt, 80, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, of Muhlenberg Twp., passed away Tuesday, October 15th in St. Joseph Medical Center, Bern Twp.

She was married to Richard L. Stoudt, Sr. Anna and Richard were married for sixty two years.

She was the daughter of the late John Sayer and Julia (Pinter) Sayer.

She was employed by Wyomissing Lodge in Wyomissing, Baronet Leather in Reading, and R.W. Eaken in Leesport.

She was a faithful member of Holy Guardian Angels Roman Catholic Church, Hyde Park.

She graduated from Kutztown High School.

She was a volunteer for Meals On Wheels and also volunteered at the Food Bank.

She enjoyed traveling to the Casinos and was an avid bingo player. Also, she loved gardening, canning, the Phillies, and Eagles. She loved to spend time with her family playing cards.

Additional survivors include a son, Richard L. Stoudt, Jr. and long time friend Kevin P. Shay of Fleetwood.

There is one grandson, John C. Stoudt of Lancaster. Also, two sisters, Mary Bitting of Kenhorst, Grace Bower of Shoemakersville, and one brother, Steven Sayer of North Carolina.

She was predeceased by her siblings, Hedwig Nuss, Gizella, John, Joseph, Louis, Charles, Frank, and Leonard Sayer.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday October 19th at 10 AM in Holy Guardian Angels Roman Catholic Church, 3121 Kutztown Rd., Hyde Park, Reading, PA 19605 with entombment to follow in Gethsemane Cemetery Mausoleum. Family and friends may attend a viewing on Friday evening from 7-8:30 PM in the Milkins Giles Funeral Home, Inc., 4914 Kutztown Rd., Temple and Saturday morning in Holy Guardian Angels Roman Catholic Church, Hyde Park from 9 AM until the mass begins.
