Andrew Mollica

Andrew Mollica, 94, of Kenhorst, passed away Tuesday, March 15th in the Reading Hospital.

Andrew was married to the late Carmela T. (Tolomei) Mollica who passed away May 30, 2015. Andrew and Carmela were married on June 8, 1946 and celebrated sixty nine years of marriage.

Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Geusepe Mollica and Geusepina (Merlo) Mollica.

Andrew was employed in the home improvement and home building industry. He also was a baker.

He loved his family very much.

Surviving are three children, Michael J. Mollica of Kenhorst, Richard D. Mollica and wife Robin of Ontelaunee Twp., and Andrew D. Mollica and wife Yvonne of West Lawn.

Andrew is predeceased by his siblings, Mary and Stella Fiamma and Peter and Saddy Mollica. Also, a predeceased granddaughter, Grace Gunduz.

There are many nieces, nephews, great- nieces and great- nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, March 22nd at 10 am in Gethsemane Cemetery Chapel of Resurrection, 3139 Kutztown Rd., Laureldale, PA 19605 with Father Keith Mathur celebrant. Interment will follow in Gethsemane Cemetery.

A viewing will be held on Tuesday morning from 8:30 until 9:30 am in the Milkins Giles Funeral Home Inc., 4914 Kutztown Rd., Temple. There will not be a viewing in the cemetery chapel.
